John C. Workman, DDS
Dr. Workman was born in Boise, Idaho and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is the oldest of eight children. He received his Eagle Scout award and played high school and college basketball. Dr. Workman served two years in New Zealand as a missionary and following his missionary activities he came to work in Chicago where he met his wife Kandy Spencer of Indian Head Park, Illinois. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelors degree in Comparative Anatomy and a Minor in English Literature followed by post graduate dental education at Loyola University of Chicago Dental School where he graduated in 1983. Dr. Workman and Kandy have raised five children here in Illinois, have thirteen grandchildren (nine boys and four girls).
Dr. Workman maintains a private practice in Glen Ellyn, Illinois specializing in dental implants, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry. His clients come from all over the Chicago land area and throughout the United States. In addition to private practice, Dr. Workman has served as a visiting faculty member at the world renowned Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education (www.Pankeydentist.org) for over five years where he taught other dentists how to treat TMJ and bite problems making it possible for teeth and dental restorations to last a lifetime. He has studied cosmetic, restorative, and implant dentistry with some of the most outstanding dentists in the world including the United States, Canada, and France. Dr. Workman is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of LDS Dentists, American Equilibration Society, Academy of Osseointegration, and a Faculty Alumnus of the prestigious Pankey Institute.
